Nevis rebranded Morisons LLP during a period of major expansion for the Glasgow and Edinburgh based firm. Following detailed research, a core brand message was identified - 'Real Partners' - which created a strong visual hook for the launch of the new brand identity. Press and banner ads were created using the theme of great partnerships such as needle and thread, salt and pepper, Batman and Robin etc. The signature M is the cornerstone of the identity and is used as a catalyst for straight talking language throughout all collateral, including printed literature, digital communications and environments.

Creating a well rounded view for Tods Murray
We recently revamped the website of leading independent Scottish law firm Tods Murray, adding a number of exciting interactive features. Among the additions are 'Todcasts', insightful audio broadcasts from a cross section of employees on a wide variety of topics and 'The Well-Rounded View', a forum for leading business figures to share their views on current issues. First up was David Gordon, Chief Executive of Windsave Limited who discussed the hot topic of Renewable Energy.

Developing a contemporary brand for Brodies
Nevis designed the brand identity for Brodies, a leading UK commercial law practice. With 62 partners and over 470 staff, the firm has a major presence in the Scottish market. The brand was created after six months' research into the firm and the launch of the stationery, presentation material and signage coincided with the redesign of Brodies' website. Commenting on the design, Brodies' director of marketing said: "As part of our rebranding research we collaborated with a number of clients, business intermediaries and staff and we are delighted with the crisp contemporary image that Nevis has designed in response to our brief."

Very smart branding for Maclay Murray Spens LLP
We also created the brand identity for Maclay Murray & Spens LLP, a full service, independent, commercial legal firm offering legal solutions and advice to clients throughout the UK and beyond. Working closely with the client, we created the core brand proposition: 'very smart people'. Photography was shot using real people from every area of the firm as models and all communication collateral was designed to build the MMS brand in a consistent and focused manner. In 2006, the firm's successful brand campaign was recognized when MMS was named "Best Brand in Practice" at the Managing Partners' Forum European Practice Management Awards.
